S-164 (Beaver Dam Road) over Thicketty Creek

This project will replace the existing structurally deficient 150-foot bridge over Thicketty Creek. Proposed bridge has not been solidified yet. This project meets the criteria to use the SCDOT Supplemental Design Criteria for Low Impact Bridge Replacement Projects Preconstruction Design Memorandum 11 (2026). The bridge will be built on existing horizontal alignment with minimal vertical profile adjustments. The travel lane and shoulder widths will be increased to 10-foot and 4-foot, respectively.
