This project consisted of a new 33,400 SF, 5-story animal shelter situated on 5.9 acres. Aulick Engineering provided civil engineering and site design for the facility that included two parking lots, two stormwater facilities, the main entrance driveway, pedestrian sidewalk improvements, and all associated utilities. The project stormwater design included a bioretention area and a wet stormwater pond to provide water quality treatment and detention for the new parking lots, building, and sidewalks. Upon completion of the design phase, Aulick provided construction administration services, including coordination with the architect, owner, and contractor, permitting, RFI responses on all site-specific questions, and approval of all submittals and shop drawings. The project was completed within scope, budget, and schedule.

One of our more recent projects was the Atlantic Aviation FBO Terminal Complex at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport. We hired Aulick Engineering to provide airport and civil site design services for the 25-acre development; their scope encompassed nearly 15 acres of new pavement for taxilanes, aprons, and parking lots on the 25-acre site. Aulick was responsible for airport design, civil site design, stormwater management design, erosion control design, and city and county permitting coordination. Additionally, Aulick was retained to provide construction administration and limited construction inspection services.
