The project consisted of the apron and site design for a new FBO terminal building and two new hangars at the DeKalb-Peachtree Airport. This 25 acre development encompassed nearly 15 acres of new pavement with taxilanes, aprons, and vehicular parking lots. Services included design of this widespread site with extensive pavement analysis to maximize use of existing pavements that could be rehabilitated. The grades of the existing ramp were corrected to allow for safe and efficient use of aircraft. Construction Administration services included bi-weekly meetings, site visits, submittal review, RFI responses, and issuance of special instructions as field conditions changed the project during construction on this World War II era site.
