The project consisted of the apron and site design and construction phase services for a new private corporate hangar development at the DeKalb Peachtree Airport (PDK) for Waffle House. Services included all aspects of Civil Engineering Design as well as permitting and adherence to new City regulations for commercial and industrial developments. Of particular interest was a significant airspace analysis effort with multiple meetings with the FAA to get the project approved. In addition to the hangar and apron, Aulick engineering designed the offload area for the Owner’s onsite fuel facility as well. Construction Administration services were then provided while the project was under construction.
