This project consisted of construction of a new commercial terminal apron expansion. This included construction of the concrete apron expansion, installation of drainage structures, miscellaneous site demolition, improvements to the associated asphalt taxiways, asphalt access drives, fencing and gate improvements, and airfield lighting. A few existing drainage channels were enlarged to accommodate the additional runoff. The existing culverts remained, and new triple-pipe culvert was installed under the access road. Erosion control practices were implemented to meet State standards. The sediment and erosion control practices included silt fence, inlet protection, diversion ditches, stone check dams, filter rings, sediment basin and retrofit silt gates. Two dry enhanced swales were designed to treat the apron expansion impervious surface and grass channels were used for the access road.
